A 16-page helmet pattern package designed for 8-11 oz leather. It includes full-size US Letter pattern sheets, a one-size-fits-most adult suspension system, materials and hardware lists, step-by-step assembly, and removable crest construction. The internal headband is designed to adjust approximately 21-25 inches.

FILE 2 – SPEARCREST PAULDRONS PATTERN
A complete adjustable shoulder-armor project with full-size US Letter tracing sheets, realistic assembly illustrations, materials/tools/hardware guidance, a three-lame articulated construction, front and back bridge straps, and adjustable underarm straps.

ADJUSTABLE / ONE-SIZE-FITS-MOST DESIGN

The individual projects use adjustable fit systems rather than a single fixed size. The helmet uses an adjustable internal suspension. The pauldrons use adjustable front, rear, and underarm connections. The cuirass uses adjustable shoulder bridges and side straps.

Because leather thickness, body shape, clothing layers, and wet-forming affect fit, always build the recommended paper or craft-foam mockups before cutting expensive leather. No single pattern can be guaranteed to fit every person without adjustment.

RECOMMENDED LEATHER

The main armor components are designed around heavy vegetable-tanned leather, with lighter leather used for straps, tabs, overlays, and certain decorative components. Each included PDF contains its own material recommendations, cut list, hardware guidance, and build notes.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate leatherworking project collection.

Buyers should be comfortable cutting heavy leather, punching accurate holes, setting rivets and other hardware, wet-forming, finishing edges, and making minor fit adjustments.

PRINTING

Pattern sheets are designed for standard US Letter 8.5 x 11 inch paper. Print at 100% / Actual Size. Turn off Fit to Page, Shrink, Scale to Fit, and automatic enlargement. Measure the included 1-inch test squares before tracing any pattern onto leather.
