SKILL LEVEL: Beginner friendly.
You should be comfortable tracing patterns, cutting leather, punching holes, setting rivets or Chicago screws, beveling edges, and performing light wet-forming.

FIT & PRINTING: Designed for approximately 13.5-19 inch adult neck circumference using the collar overlap and front adjustment. Body shape, clothing layers, leather thickness, and forming affect fit.

Always make a paper mockup first.

Print at 100% / Actual Size and verify the included 1-inch test square.

HISTORICAL NOTE Historically gorgets were normally metal neck armor used with plate harnesses. Ordinary soldiers more often relied on simpler helmets, padded garments, shields, mail, and – by the later 1500s – equipment such as jacks of plate.

The Roadwarden is an original leather Ren-faire interpretation designed to provide believable historical flavor without claiming to reproduce a specific artifact.
